A PLAY BASED LEARNING ENVIRONMENT
Hello and welcome!
Located on Thetford Hill, Maple Leaf Children’s Center is a licensed, non-profit children’s center that opened its doors to young children in January 1976.
Our Center occupies two large sunny rooms in the church and is licensed for 18 children by the State of Vermont, providing care for ages 18 months to entering kindergarten. This website helps you connect with our Center and programs.
Maple Leaf was started by Joan Crosson and Mary Rodriguez in the Thetford Hill Fire Station and moved to its present location in the First Congregational Church in February, 1977. We have no religious affiliation with the church.
STARS (STEP Ahead Recognition System)
Vermont STARS is a quality standards program that works with parents to inform confident decisions about child care. Our Four-STAR rating means that we offer established programs that meet several standards of quality.
